Ryan is now 22 years old, and throughout his life, Prader-Willi California Foundation has been there for our family every step of the way. From providing trusted information so we can make the best decisions for his care, to advocating for appropriate services, to connecting us with other families who truly understand—PWCF has given us something priceless: support, guidance, and community.

That’s why we’re proud to once again participate in the 5K this October as part of TeamPWCF. Your support means so much—not only to our family, but to the hundreds of families across California who rely on PWCF every day.

Since 1979, PWCF has been a lifeline for individuals living with Prader-Willi Syndrome, as well as their families, caregivers, and providers—offering education, advocacy, and connection. With your continued support, they can carry this work forward for years to come.

Because when a parent hears a diagnosis they’ve never encountered before… where do they turn?
When they’re told to “wait and see,” but their instincts say otherwise… who stands with them?
When systems don’t listen, when services are denied, when schools don’t understand… who helps them navigate it all?

They call PWCF.

PWCF advocates, educates, and empowers families through every stage of the journey—whether it’s accessing early intervention, securing services like IHSS or SSI, working with schools, or simply having someone who understands on the other end of the phone.

PWCF is the only organization in California dedicated exclusively to serving the PWS community—and that makes their work all the more essential.
