On October 10–11, TeamPWCF will be walking and running to raise awareness and critical funds for the Prader-Willi California Foundation (PWCF).

Since 1979, PWCF has supported individuals living with Prader-Willi syndrome, along with their families, caregivers, and providers, by offering trusted information, advocacy, and community. With your support, we can continue this vital work for many years to come.

But when a family first hears the words Prader-Willi syndrome, the questions begin immediately.

What does a parent do when their newborn is diagnosed with a condition most people have never heard of?

What happens when a doctor says to “wait and see,” but a parent knows early treatment matters?

What do families do when schools don’t understand the unique challenges of PWS, or when critical services are denied?

Where do they turn for help navigating IHSS, SSI, Regional Center services, and medical care?

They call PWCF.

Every day, PWCF helps families advocate for appropriate medical care, secure services, educate schools, and connect with a community that understands their journey. For many families, PWCF becomes their first call and their strongest ally.

We are the only organization in California dedicated exclusively to serving the PWS community.
