Monroe's Warriors

Another year has passed and our Prader-Willi Warrior is stronger than ever. She’s 4 years old now with such a robust, independent personality. Our girl is busy these days exploring all types of new activities, music, Kajukenbo, yoga and dance. Her personality is so lighthearted and steadfast. Monroe truly is proof that God blesses us.

When she was diagnosed at 3 months old, our family was devastated. So many questions filled our minds, so many “what-ifs”. We were provided comfort, resources and vital connections to help guide our new journey. I was given a PWCF mentor that answered my questions and guided me through what the next few months would be like. The resources and information that I have received from the organization have been invaluable.

Please take time to donate to the Prader-Willi California Foundation so that they may continue to provide resources and fund research that may someday bring a cure to those affected.

This year we will not have a commemorative item (Mama tired y'all). Any and all donations are appreciated and I hope to see you all at this year's walk!
