When we moved to California, we knew PRADER-WILLI CALIFORNIA FOUNDATION would be helpful...We could never have guessed how much direct support we would receive from them.
Every year, we have to train new staff at Neve's school. Sometimes, this has to happen multiple times in a year, sometimes we are not really listened to, and every time we need help explaining, advocating, or educating about PWS, PWCF is there.
They provide workshops for teachers, health professionals and families; connect us with research opportunities; and provide a bridge through the transitions of living a life with a medically complex syndrome.
We have benefitted so much from PWCF's mission and offerings.
