Please Support Individuals & Families Living with Prader-Willi

Thanks to the support Emma and our family have received Emma has achieved what we all hope for - a life she loves! Making that possible, takes a tremendous amount of support to ongoingly manage the challenges presented by Prader-Willi Syndrome. PWCF has been one of our main cornerstones of support over many years. She goes to a food-safe camp each summer supported by PWCF. She continues to sing in The New Hope Band which is comprised of talented adults with special needs (Emma is feelin' it in the banner photo at the band's 2023 Sock Hop themed annual concert!), she attends College of Adaptive Arts and has just earned enough credits to receive CAA's equivalent of an Undergraduate diploma. She continues to participate in Angels on Stage and loves Zooming to read with Duncan & Patti McRae & Maddy in our DEMP Book Club. (Duncan, Emma, Maddy, Patti - get it?) We are on book 7 of the Harry Potter Series. (It's been a marathon, not a sprint!) We met the wonderful McRae family through our PWCF N. Cal support group many years ago when Duncan and Emma were just a few years old. It is wonderful to have a PWS community that understands the challenging journey we all share. For this we are grateful.

Emma is also a member of the Go-Getters special needs bowling league, takes a weekly singing lesson and works with a personal trainer. She also enjoys visits with her boyfriend, Max, who we also met years ago at the PWCF support group. It is a full life!

• Providing the only medically specialized camp in California that exclusively serves persons with PWS

• Educating and supporting teachers, physicians, and allied health professionals
• Weekly chats and activities on Zoom for people with PWS
