Support PWCF!

When Emile was diagnosed with PWS at age 3 1/2 one of my first phone calls was to PWCF. I immediately felt less alone and supported. When the school needed to hear the details of this rare genetic syndrome from an expert, PWCF was there to offer training to staff. When Emile transitioned to middle school and high school they offered more training and support. Larry and I took classes and attended annual conferences. When we had a million questions about how to help Emile with the intense struggles and how to get people to listen, we called PWCF. We expect to be leaning on PWCF in the near future when she ages out of the school program. This organization is the ONLY one in California that exclusively serves the PWS community.

AND now I'm starting my second year as a member of the board of directors! So, I'm excited to be attending the walk scheduled for May 18th in Fullerton as a parent and a board member!

• Maintaining a 24-hour PWS Medical Crisis line
• Providing the only medically specialized camp in California that exclusively serves persons with PWS

• Educating and supporting teachers, physicians, and allied health professionals
• Weekly chats and activities on Zoom for people with PWS
